Texas Shootout Series race

Congratulations to Justin L Whitley on his win tonight in the Shootout Series

We had a total of 14 racers come out tonight with several new soon to be members. We had 5 cautions for a total of 20 laps and 8 lead changes among 5 drivers. Chase Cabre took the pole with a time of 29.409.

Justin Whitely however was look to prove dominance at Texas as he led 92 of the 100 laps. We also had Jeremy Enochs with 3, Douglas Sargent with 2, Nick DelCampo with 2, and Mrs. Nuff World Laci Sargent with a lap lead. What about that.

The action was fast and furious with alot of side by side racing and plenty of passing on this huge track. Everyone's favorite caution came when Sargent and Sargent collided coming out of turn 2 and sent Douglas crashing into the inside wall.

The final lap saw some serious hard racing as several drivers were leaning on each other and pushing for position heavily. Benjamin Brittain finished the race sliding through the grass into turn 1 where he and Douglas Sargent got together and Sargent ended up limping back to the pits with his tire on his hood.
