Aight Nuffers we had an Admin meeting to discuss several issues...
1. Attitude
I continue to express my frustration with the general attitude of some in the league... we are all working very hard to make the league better and have a long way to go.. I have instructed the admins to hear out complaints and not brush them off as many have good ideas... however I also instructed them to turn away from anyone who wants to try to accuse anyone here of cheating... even if it might be true... our attitude has to be to find the loopholes that may be causing the accusations and fix them...
2. Stat Violations
I understand that a few stats have changed a bit... therefore we have agreed to allow some tolerance..if the violation is a minor 1.. you will be warned first... if it is major... the game will be reversed and there will be penalties... IMPORTANT NOTE... whether your WIN OR LOSE the game... BOTH TEAMS have to be within stats to avoid penalties. - THERE WILL BE NO RESETS due to stat violations... the game wmay be reversed but it will NOT be replayed
3. Salary Cap Limit
Call it the DX Rule...lol... There will be a $10 Mil Limit to how much any team can go over Hard Cap during the season. AGAIN we are speaking of Hard Cap... regardless of trade details
4. Trade Protested
The Trade between the Heat (D Jordan) and The Clippers (K Garnett) has been VOTED Down by the panel... both teams are working on trade adjustment now
5. Activity
We are looking very closely at teams who are responsible for sims... as long as you are communicating... we will do everything to hold your team... if you are not communicating... you will receive a courtesy warning that your team is in jeapordy... afterwards.. I have given the green light to take the team.
6. League Clock
The league has been frozen to allow everyone a chance to get games played over holidays... that means trades will NOT go through on the game until we reactivate the clock... but you can still do your trades in the forum and get them ready....once the clock does restart.. it will be placed on fast mode for a bit as there should be no games to sim and trades should go through quickly.
7. Sliders
Due to the recent Update... the settings we were happy with during preseason have changed a bit... therefor expect some adjustments... the main things we are looking at is Defense increases and Offensive rebound decreases. We have create a separate league so we can test the planned changes. You will be notified AHEAD OF TIME as to when the sliders will be changed to include an effective date.
8. Contracts
to be clear... There are no more negotiations with players whose options have been exercised... they WILL BECOME restricted free agents at the end of the year... PERIOD. Also there is NO MORE DeFranchising a player... at the end of the 5 year term.. the player WILL BECOME a restricted Free Agent... PERIOD.. these decisions will hopefully address the potential of teams being able to "hoard" players without any sort of competition on the market.
